Scott has literally worked on dozens of titles, including established national newsstand titles, small consumer startups and corporate B2B titles. Here are some random samples of Scott’s magazine design work as a designer, writer and business development consultant.
Scott was art director/creative director for JES publishing for three years (see below), where he was responsible for Salt Lake magazine, Utah Style & Design, Utah Bride and custom publications like Canyons Resort and Visit Salt Lake magazines.
Scott worked on a redesign for Peterson Publications Sport magazine and, for Newcomer magazine, Scott provided ongoing design services (below).
As Art Director for Bon Appétit magazine, Scott was responsible for conceiving and assigning illustrations, photoshoots, staff management and and of course story design/layout.
